Found Object Wind Chime

Together, we will create an interesting and unique wind chime using found objects. I will somehow use a round metal thing and silverware from a garage sale to create a one of a kind item. If you would like to follow along, gather these types of items:

  • Round metal object like a small pot lid or old tub drain cover
  • Old silverware
  • Fishing line
  • Scissors
  • Beads, glass objects, rocks, etc.
  • Pliers
  • Wire cutters
  • Heavy gauge wire - I used 14 gauge galvanized wire

For those of you who don't know, I live in the country. So, in this episode you may hear a lot of birds chirping in the background as well as a few chickens crowing. But, it was such a lovely day I hated to close the windows!

Cool!

OK...I must admit when I read about this as an upcoming project, I thought, "Well, that will look good in the trailer". I was so wrong. The windchime turned out really cool...and utilizes the millions of beads I have. Now I just have to convince my husband that all our silverware is old. :-) Thanks for another great podcast!! Thanks for your great podcast shows, I really look forward to each and every one of them. Audrey G, texas
